NUTRITION SERVICES

Minnesota CarePartner is pleased to announce the availability of Nutrition Services. Our registered dietitian nutritionist practices medical nutrition therapy, group education, and one-on-one counseling to make sure your nutritional needs are met and that you have a healthy relationship with food.

Nutrition services are available to children, adolescent, and adult clientele and are offered in-home or in-clinic. With experience in nutrition management of several diseases including diabetes, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, substance abuse, eating disorders, high blood pressure, and more, our dietitian will teach and help lead you to a better quality of life through food and nourishment.

Medical nutrition therapy is a professional health service performed by a registered dietitian nutritionist who is certified and licensed in the state of practice. Private insurance plans vary and it is important to check with your specific plan for coverage. State health care programs including Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, and other state-sponsored insurance require a referral from a primary care provider for medical nutrition therapy. Medicare Part B covers medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, chronic kidney disease, post-transplant kidney disease, and gestational diabetes with a referral from a physician. Clients without insurance can still meet with our nutrition staff virtually and/or in-person.
